Description
Otello is a limited-edition pasta machine that celebrates the very origins of Marcato — named in honour of Otello Marcato, who built the first manual pasta machine in 1930. The design revisits the shapes of that original machine with elegant contemporary finishes: a champagne-coloured anodized aluminium structure (coloured through an anodic oxidation process that releases no residue) and a base and handle knobs crafted from solid Wengè wood, treated with natural oil for durability. Inside, Otello uses the same modern technology found across the Marcato range: anodized aluminum alloy rollers and highly-resistant polymeric resin combs. A 7-position regulator gives you seven distinct sheet thicknesses for lasagne, fettuccine, and tagliolini. Otello is designed as a self-contained, complete machine — no additional attachments can be fitted.
