Handcrafted in stainless steel with a precision-laser-cut mesh, the Kone filter allows your coffee’s natural oils to pass through freely, resulting in a full-bodied, nuanced cup that paper filters simply mask. Compatible with the Chemex 6-cup and 8-cup brewers as well as the Ratio Eight coffee machine, the Kone is a permanent addition to your brew station — not a consumable.
Brewing Notes
Technical Note: The Kone works best with a medium-coarse grind. Too fine and you’ll get sediment in the cup; too coarse and extraction will be thin. Pre-rinse the filter with hot water before brewing to seat it properly and heat your dripper. After brewing, a quick rinse under hot water removes most grounds — run it through the dishwasher once a week for a deeper clean.
