The Ceado Life X Touch is a flexible all-purpose grinder that can grind for all brew methods and switch between on-demand and single-dose operation. Its colorful touchscreen makes programming and menu navigation simple, with the option to customize your screen’s color and layout. Coffee is ground with a set of 50mm blind burrs with a full range of grinds from espresso to French press.

On Demand and Single-Dose Grinding

Thanks to its unique design, the Life X Touch can be used as both a traditional hopper fed on-demand grinder and a single dose grinder. By swapping out the hopper for the single-dose assembly, the included plunger/bellows pushes coffee into the grinding chamber and can be used to evacuate leftover grinds for zero retention operation.

50mm Blind Burrs

The secret behind the Life’s powerful grinding performance are its XB50 50mm screwless grinding burrs. Made from high-grade steel, these burrs have an uninterrupted cutting surface that offers the grinding performance of traditionally mounted 60mm burrs. This reduces waste, retention, and improves motor performance to help prevent jamming.

All-Purpose Grinding

No matter how you brew, the Life X Touch is capable of producing coffee with high clarity thanks to its blind burrs. Grind adjustment is fully stepless and one full rotation of the adjustment dial moves the grinder from its finest to its coarsest setting. That means that the numbers on the dial provide a definitive point of reference when adjusting between sizes for different brew methods. The Life X Touch features a built-in, adjustable portafilter holder and comes with a ground coffee container for methods like French Press and pour-over.

Based on those results, we’ve recommended general guidelines for which grind settings would likely best be suited to which styles of coffee preparation.
